CPS - "clickers"

The University of Connecticut uses a Classroom Performance System (CPS) or "clickers" manufactured and supported by eInstruction in Denton, Texas. Most UConn students will be directed to register their clicker through HuskyCT. There are two fees associated with the CPS; one to purchase the response pad (available at the UConn COOP) and another fee to register the device. Students may pay using a credit card, personal check, or an enrollment code/coupon code.

Current prices (Fall 2009) are as follows:

• $24 for the clicker
• $13 registration per semester (good for all classes using CPS)
• $39 lifetime registration (after three semesters registration is free)

For assistance, please contact the LRC. If you suspect your device is defective (which is extremely unusual), please come by the LRC for testing. They can issue you a return authorization number from eInstruction which allows you to take your clicker back to UConn's COOP for a replacement.
